Transparency matters when a price-comparison site links to retailers. This page explains our commercial relationships.
Some outbound links may be affiliate links
If you click certain retailer links and complete a qualifying transaction, Cigar Price Watch may receive a commission or referral fee. This generally does not increase the price you pay to the retailer.
Affiliate status does not change the math
Our core comparison is based on retailer price, pack count and normalized price per cigar. A higher commission rate should not cause a more expensive comparable offer to rank above a cheaper one. The methodology is described publicly on our Methodology page.
Not every retailer relationship is monetized
We may display retailer pricing even when no affiliate relationship exists. Likewise, the presence of an affiliate relationship does not mean we control a retailer's product descriptions, inventory, shipping, legal compliance or customer service.
Retailer links
Outbound retailer links are provided so visitors can verify current price, availability and terms directly with the seller. Cigar Price Watch does not process the tobacco transaction and is not the seller of record.
We may earn money from some retailer referrals, but the price-comparison formula itself is designed to remain independent of that compensation.
